What is the list?

The list was started in April 2007 and has grown to 260+ members since then. The mailing list brings Australian (and International) WSS/MOSS/SharePoint knowledge together in one place.

It’s a place whereby people who use Windows SharePoint Services/SharePoint 2003/MOSS 2007 everyday can easily share information with the people who need it most. If you're stuck with trying to setup, upgrade, configure, develop, deploy and generally troubleshoot anything SharePoint related then this list is for you. Its is a way of sharing important information on How-To's, Tips & Tricks, Configuration, Development and other SharePoint related topics.

In December 2008, the server that it was hosted on was decommissioned and the list was moved to the Codify list server infrastructure.

Message filtering/Inbox sorting

There is an SMTP header set for list-id which you can filter messages on. This is better than prefixing/munging the subject line.
If you use gmail, GAPE, GAFYD, etc, you can click on "show details" near the message header and then "Filter messages from this mailing list" (pretty cool!).
